The following year, radio consultant Kent Burkart presented Kelly to KSTP-FM in Minneapolis, as M.G. became part of the team that drove the 16th ranked station to number 2 in just 100 days. Gary Jackson

Gary started his DJ career back in the days when half a dozen singles from Saturday Night Fever were guaranteed to fill the dance floor. Hospital radio beckoned in the early 1990s and he now finds himself on a Spanish station, surprised that it’s the English speaking population that listens, having always thought the most suitable audience would be those who hadn’t a clue what he was on about.

He fell in love with beat music in the 60s, and in 1997 he was approached by The Searchers to publish their official website which he does to this day.

The Gary Jackson Show is packed with special features – not for the audience’s benefit, but because at his age just staying awake for two hours is tough enough, and every little helps! Dave The Rave

Dave the Rave has spent countless hours searching for these hit sounding 45’s that never entered into the Top 40 but had the sound potential to have done so. The show is very diverse in the music that it features. You will hear soul, surf, garage, British Invasion, girl groups, doowop, rockabilly, teenagers, and instrumentals.

Relics and Rarities loves to feature local hits, record store rarities, lost B-sides and original versions of Top 40 hits. Many of the 45’s in his collection is the kind of music that you would be paying thousand’s of dollars for in an old record store if you could even find the record.

Dave the Rave has one of the largest music collections of anybody we know. He has approximately 100,000+ 45 RPM records that grows weekly, 25,000 albums, and 25,000 CDs that he accesses to bring you an exciting Relics and Rarities show. You may occasionally hear a pop, or some vinyl crackle on Dave the Rave’s show as he digs deep into his record library to bring you oldies many of which will be new even to the listener that thinks he has heard em all and knows everything!

The show had been on XM Satellite Radio where it had a large coast to coast fanbase. It currently airs in several markets through syndication and is always seeking new stations that seek a unique show featuring the familiar safe songs along with those lost buried rarities that previously were just collecting dust in old record stores across America. Dave the Rave always suggests having pen and paper at your disposal so that you can start writing down songs that you will love and perhaps never hear again!

1) With zero “sources” in the professional sports world, The Daily Upper Decker will never create news stories. Our staff of stand-up comics will write opinionated articles on the sports and teams they are passionate about and on the teams they hate. The Daily Upper Decker will also feature many sports betting segments and fantasy sports news for dorks.

B) Nobody at The Daily Upper Decker likes soccer!

Sonic Assualt

The radio journey known as Sonic Assault started out as “The Klingon Invasion” on a little-known internet station in 2009 after some arm twisting from his gamer friends and colleagues.  Always wanting to explore his inner disc jockey and taking his in-game character name along for the ride, a young man set out to live his dream as a world famous broadcaster.
Ok, so the “world famous” part is a work-in-progress, but you get the idea.  Fast forward a few years later and here we are.
Sonic Assault is a little bit crazy, a little bit corny, and very much music and fun.  A nerd with many interests, your host Brian pours his heart and soul into each broadcast and strives to make each experience both memorable and repeatable.  Although the show’s roots come from gamer community radio stations like The Sanitarium.FM and Subspace Radio, Brian has extended his reach into more mainstream internet stations with the height of his career coming at WRRX-Rock 98.9 out of Jackson, MS.  After moving the show back to Subspace Radio in 2013, Brian began looking to conquer more of the radio world through syndication.  After making the decision to leave SSR as a member of their staff, the journey continues in the form of The Sonic Assault Radio Network.

Mike’s Jukebox Party

I started in this business at the age of 12, working my first gig on New Year’s Eve for friends of my parents. I made the princely sum of $20, plus an additional $6 in tips. In fact, I still have that original $26 payout to remind me of when I started. By age 15, I had my own oldies show on a local South Coast radio station. Before I was old enough to drive, I found myself working as a deejay at a restaurant, a roller skating rink, and various private functions. I remember often reflecting on how truly lucky I was to be able to have a career doing something I loved – playing music and entertaining. I found it such a thrill to be a part of people laughing, smiling, dancing, and having a good time. Thirty years later, I still have the same respect, passion, and love for this wonderful business.
